There Goes That Man
By Kacie Hutchinson
He’s always moving on my behalf.
Today, I completed a course with a dear mentor of mine, Brittany Bruce. I’ve walked through many seasons of business with her audibly in my ear, guiding me to be the woman God has called me to be.
Today, I also listened to the full version of Abbie Gamboa’s song There Goes That Man. I had been waiting weeks for its release, and when it finally played, clarity settled in. What a perfect day for that song to be released.
He’s always moving on our behalf.
Always and forever.
A Faith That Was Shaken
Five years ago, my daughter Harper was born still at the height of COVID-19. In that moment, my faith was shaken because my heart could not understand a God who would allow that kind of loss as part of His plan.
A Table Filled With Evidence
Today, January 30th, I sit at my dining room table covered in workshop papers, surrounded by a brand I built out of obedience to what God called me to create. In this moment, I see every scriptural promise coming to life inside the greater plan He has always had for me.
This brand is not just external. It is internal. It lives inside me as a testimony of what it means to rebuild faith when it feels fragile. When you know there is a God who is good, just, and sovereign. A meticulous God who works everything out for the good and for His glory.
Light Grown From Darkness
When I created this brand, I knew without a shadow of a doubt that this was where He had called me. I knew its purpose was to communicate light that grows in the depths of darkness.
He rekindled my heart. He showed me the joy He finds in a relationship built on trust, where I release control and believe His plan is still good.
The Seasons of Harper Bee
If you’ve been a part of Harper Bee from the beginning, you’ve witnessed the seasons.
The bee themed nursery of a baby who would never be rocked there.
The formation of Harper Bee Photography, where I captured moments between mothers and their babies and found healing in hospital rooms filled with life and miracles.
The season of Harper Bee Handmade. Painting banners for families while rebuilding my relationship with a loving God. Four hours at a time spent painting alongside podcasts, worship, and prayer. A relationship He never left, because He was always moving on my behalf.
Then God called me out of that profitable season. A season I feared letting go of because it felt like I would be losing sacred time with Him.
Creating Something From Nothing
But what I know now is this. He created something out of nothing.
Five and a half years of Him moving on my behalf. Five and a half years of falling deeper in love with Him, His plan, and understanding.
I carry a testimony for the mother who has endured loss of any kind and struggles to be receptive to a loving God who works everything out in His glory.
I carry a testimony for the hard days when I felt like I was chasing business while motherhood sat on the back burner. He was building a love for business within me so I could pursue His plan.
A New Chapter of Light
A loving God revealed to me that I will use Harper Bee Luxe to plant small seeds of faith through intentional design and thoughtful packaging. Our hero product is a candle carrying a story of loss that He redeemed by His divine light, offering hope to those walking through dark seasons.
So today, I choose to be bold in our calling, our story, and our comfort. I choose to be courageous and vocal about what God has done to restore us.
Welcome to the beginning of Harper Bee Luxe.
A new chapter of light in the darkness.
Carry the Light Home
This story lives beyond these words.
Our hero candle was intentionally created to hold space for faith, comfort, and hope. Each candle is designed as a quiet reminder that light still exists, even in seasons of darkness.
