Candle Safety + Maintenance

Each Harper Bee Luxe candle is crafted with care using clean, non-toxic ingredients and luxury coconut-apricot wax. To ensure an elevated experience and the safe enjoyment of your candle, please follow the care guidelines below.

Before Lighting

• Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each use to promote an even, soot-free burn.

• Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, vents, and flammable materials.

• For the first burn, allow the wax to melt fully across the surface to establish an even melt pool and prevent tunneling.

While Burning

• Never leave a burning candle unattended or within reach of children or pets.

• Burn in 2–4 hour intervals to preserve fragrance quality and prevent vessel overheating.

• Avoid burning for more than 4 hours at a time.

• Do not move or touch the candle while the wax is liquid.

After Extinguishing

• Allow the wax to fully cool and solidify before handling.

• Keep the wax surface clear of wick trimmings and debris.

• Discontinue use when ¼ inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel.

Storage & Repurposing

• Store candles in a cool, dry space away from direct sunlight to maintain fragrance integrity.

• Once finished, your ceramic vessel can be gently cleaned and repurposed as a timeless accent piece or keepsake container.
